Curated projects

My ideal work environment is having the freedom to design inclusively and collaborate on diverse projects with passionate teams who jibe well. Luckily, I’ve been able to do just this, both in-house and in an agency, with some amazing clients, designers, researchers, developers, and PMs on some interesting digital projects.

Award-winning gallery installation for exhibit

The Vancouver Art Gallery’s exhibit explored the transformative influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the development and production of visual culture. We were approached by the gallery’s head curators to design and develop a functional art piece which visualized visitor data.

Our piece, ‘Creepers’, is an AI-driven installation piece that tracks gallery visitor movements using an unobtrusive AI camera which maps their movements with aesthetic, coloured lines on a screen, and allows visitors to map themselves onto the piece.

Branding refresh AND SIMPLIFYING MODO'S marketing site

Modo, the oldest car sharing coop in BC, approached AP to re-platform and redesign their website, as their marketing team were seeking a more efficient and autonomous content management process.

On this project, we were able to improve Modo's branding on their site and better align it with the Modo mobile app (primarily used for booking vehicles); rethink the overall page hierarchy, user flow, and site map; and finally re-evaluate their design components and content, ultimately reducing clutter.

SIMPLIFYING THE WAYFINDING JOURNEY FOR TELUS INTERNET CUSTOMERS

Our team collaborated with two key teams within the Telus org, a design team and the home services (internet) team, to help establish a clearer design strategy, support frequent A/B tests, and specify a redesign for a more effective way-finding system within their internet sales user flow on their marketing site.

The updates we made increased Telus's internet sale conversation rates, customer click-through rates to different key points in the journey, and the overall amount of time spent in the internet section.

JIBC is a public, post-secondary educational institution focused on training professionals in the justice, public safety. They wanted a desktop gamified prototype featuring a multi-person network, allowing instructors and students to interact, with customizable objects (buildings, vehicles) and settings that instructors/students can adjust to create varied scenarios.
