Several internal flows needed to be extended beyond the components IBM already had in Carbon, without introducing inconsistency into a highly governed, enterprise-scale design system. This often meant a quick turn around as they were doing a 'deep clean'.

Highlight/s

I worked to preserve existing design patterns they had to make it easier for the team to work quickly while still maintaining the design integrity, speeding up internal design review. There were a number of consent/form layers prior to logging in, which meant modals and setting the appropriate scrim levels, in accordance with Carbon.

Contribution

• Mocked up low fidelity flows to high fidelity flows, working within their recommended grid system to allow for autonomy down the line (in the case an internal design team took the project further)
• Ran frequent check-ins with the client to ensure each team involved on their end was happy

Outcome

Delivered accessible, system-compliant flows on schedule for their CSR initiative which was accessed by internal IBM employees.
